IP Location Lookup
Look up the geolocation of an IPv4 address — country, continent, region, city, ISP, ASN, timezone and postal code.
About this tool
What is IP geolocation?
IP geolocation is the approximate physical location associated with an IP address — country, region and city. It gives a rough idea of where a device connects from.
Supported IP types
This tool currently supports IPv4 addresses only (e.g. 192.168.1.1 or 8.8.8.8). IPv6 is not supported yet.
What you get
Results include the location (country, region, city), network details (ISP, ASN), timezone and postal code.
Use cases
IP geolocation is widely used for network security analysis, audience analytics, content delivery, ad targeting and fraud/risk control.
Accuracy
IP-based location is typically accurate to the city level and can be affected by proxies and network routing, so treat results as approximate.
Privacy
Lookups run through our edge; the public IP→geolocation result may be cached at the edge for about 7 days to reduce upstream calls. The cached object is the queried IP and its public geographic data, not personal information.
